Why is this bike more than some others ?

Beautiful Diamondback Ascent completely Restored (polished too) ProTuned & guaranteed.
AFAICT it's a 1994 according to a UK web site & Bikepedia.
More than a Drive Train Clean & Pro Tune were done.

20" measured to top of top tube.
True Temper AVR double-butted steel frame shines like new.
Some paint dings but no dents, no rust, no issues. Waxed too.
31" standover.
3x7 gearing for 21 speeds altogether. 10 speeds per Woody Harrelson :)
Sealed bottom bracket is nice and smooth with no play.
Drive train Clean/Protune
Wheels look new with sealed-bearing cleaned STX/Parallax hubs
Both wheels trued (straightened) to about a mm
Araya TM-18 double-wall rims were cleaned and buffed
Single-guage stainless steel spokes tensioned & cleaned & polished
Thumb shifters (with windows) were taken off, cleaned & lubed with a light oil.
STX 2-tone front & rear deraileurs were taken off, cleaned, and adjusted perfectly.
New SRAM chain
Tires were also cleaned, hybrid-style Avenir Vigor EX in great shape and tubes hold air fine.
SAKAE I-beam 130mm steering stem...very rare. Is this called a Duo 10 ?
Vetta Italy Lite Gel saddle (has collector value I was told)
Polished seat post (above clamp area) plus lubed below/inside
Both skewers were cleaned and greased
Blackburn rack in fine shape * cleaned
Original Diamondback grips in great shape, cleaned too
Aheadset Dia-Compe headset bearings, adjusted for no play
Seat collar polished
Cantilever brakes adjusted perfectly with newish pads, cleaned & adjusted
Shimano STX crankset was taken off and cleaned
Polished crankarms & spider...nothing looks as good !
28lbs with rack and pedals.
